If we didnt have the ozone layer how hot would it be?

Since the ozone layer helps to regulate temperature both by filtering out the sun’s ultraviolet rays and by trapping heat inside the atmosphere, the complete loss of the ozone layer would entail drastic shifts in temperature. According to one estimate, the dark side of the earth would drop to -200 degrees F. without the ozone layer and the light side would rise to 200 degrees F.
