If the United States does not go to Copenhagen do you think there is any chance that a bill gets passed?

Well, the United States did go to Copenhagen and we still don’t have a climate bill. 🙁  If the US hadn’t gone to Copenhagen, I believe there would just have been a lot of frustration from the progressives looking for action on this issue. The Obama administration would have been seen as not really concerned about this issue. As we’ve seen, though, the United States’ attendance didn’t do anything to push a climate bill through Congress. Instead there’s been more and more push back from members of both parties. With so much focus on health care and now it seems we’re moving to education, passage of a comprehensive climate and energy bill seems very uncertain.
