If something is a national park what does that mean? What kind of rules do they have?

    National Parks are designated either by Congress or the President. In order to be designated a park must be an outstanding example of a particular natural resource, possess exceptional value, offer excellent opportunities for recreation public use and scientific study, retain a high degree of integrity as a true and unspoiled example of a particular resource.
