If the polls show we are in favor of Obama’s energy plan why is it taking so long to implement?

Policies always take a long time to implement. It’s the nature of politics and large-scale change. Even if polls indicate people are generally in favor of something, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t opposition as well, and then there is a process to actually putting changes in place.

Polls in favor of something generally only go as far as indicating that something will be implemented eventually.
