If our primates start to go extinct do you think humans are in trouble?

Yes, I do think that if primates start to go extinct, humans may be in danger.  A decrease in the general biodiversity of the Earth’s ecosystems causes an imbalance for all living things.  Also, if our closest living relatives:  lemurs, apes, and monkeys, are threatened it may be due to tropical rainforest deforestation.  Since deforestation leads to a carbon sink being destroyed, this in turn leads to global warming.
