If the krill disappeared in the oceans would everything in the ocean die?

Probably not everything. There are many life forms in the ocean that do not rely heavily on krill, however, they do make up an important part of the food chain of many larger ocean creatures (such as whales), and are indirectly consumed by other organisms, so eliminating them would certainly disrupt ocean ecosystems considerably.
