If it weren’t for the sea shepherd how many whales would the Japanese kill?

    According to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s webpage, Japanese whalers (alongside those from Norway) may kill as many as 1000 whales a year (and have killed about 25,000 whales in the last 25 years). The organization attempts to prevents this, both by lobbying government officials, and through direct action.
