If it wasn’t for John Muir would Yosemite be completely destroyed?

John Muir had a huge influence on the creation and conservation of Yosemite National Park. However, to say without his influence Yosemite would be completely destroyed is extreme in my opinion. John Muir was an excellent leader and activist, but keep in mind, he did not work alone. Hopefully other like-minded individuals, even if decades later, would have seen the value in Yosemite like Muir did to preserve its natural wonder.
