Try eating a breakfast that consists of whole grains such as bran muffins or steal cut oatmeal. These high-fiber foods take longer to break down and will leave you feeling full longer and keep your energy levels up. Also, small snacks throughout the morning can help. Try a handful of nuts or a piece of fruit.
A small bit of protein can help re-energize you. Try an apple and cheese or an apple and peanut butter. Hummus, nuts, fruit, yogurt, and cottage cheese are also good choices.
