If I had bread in my cupboard for like a month without it going bad, does that mean it is full of preservatives and I probably shouldn’t eat it?

You probably shouldn’t eat it, but it’s probably not because of the preservatives at this point.  Microscopic organisms or mold might be in the bread which can cause illness.  Granted, the preservatives probably aren’t great for you, either.  At this point, though, it’s what’s living in it that you should be concerned about more than what it was made of.

You should not eat it, it most likely has mold, bugs, and other germs that could make you sick. Next time try freezing it thet might presurve it better.
