If the EPA is tough on mountain top mining how will we get coal in the future?

For one, coal resources are finite and will go over the peak coal point within the next few decades anyway. Coal has relatively few uses other than as a fuel, so it can be replaced easily by green energy sources. And in any case, the same coal deposits can still be mined by digging traditional mines and tunnels instead of destroying the whole mountain and its surroundings.
