Climate change, and what has been called Global Warming, has lead to milder winters. In some areas snow is falling much less frequently and the glaciers are melting. We must make efforts to slow down and stop climate change so that the cold regions will maintain their seasons and winter. This is very important for the functioning of the ecosystem.
Eventually, no there will be no winters anymore. However, that is not likely to happen for quite some time. In the meantime the rising temperatures allow for the hotter air to hold more moisture. When storm systems do come through, this will intensify the snowfall and will result in more intense snow storms. In our lifetime, this is probably what we will see more of.
