If movies bomb in the movie theater should they be able to make DVD’s and waste more material?

Many important environmental movies, like Gasland, either never make it to the theaters or don’t do well there.  They rely on DVD sales to get their message across.  I don’t think we should deny them that opportunity.

And, like tool said, many mainstream movies also do better on DVD.

In addition, in some cases, it’s more environmentally-friendly to watch movies at your home on DVD (especially if you have a very long drive to the theatre), so we should promote that option!
