In my experience a lot of health food stores have composting sections in their dine-in area. Some restaurants also have them, and I’ve seen them in Tully’s and other coffee place with the biodegradable cups. This is probably more typical in places that offer composting programs with the regular trash and recycling (San Francisco, for example), but hopefully some of these places do it on there own! It is great for the environment, and for local gardens or wherever the compost is eventually ending up.
