Biogenous is made from sediment and living things, like bits of bone or plankton, that are decomposing and mixed in with the sediment. Hydrogenous sediment is ionized due to deep sea vents; ions oxidize or combine with silica and turn into dark, metal-rich sediment. Terrigenous sediments usually found near a shore and are made from worn down land. It’s carried by rivers to coastal regions. Links have more details; hope this helps!
