Terrigenous material is found in shallow marine environments. Because its nothing more than land erosion, you will find it closer to shore. Biogenous material can be found anywhere there has been life, more commonly in deep water. It is the remains of planktonic material mostly. I don’t know exactly what hydrosediment is, but from my readings it seems that it is sediment that is suspended in the water column rather than on the bottom like the previous ones.
