There are actually a few volcanoes around the world that have been erupting continuously for a few thousand years. Etna in Italy has been continuously erupting for 3500 years, and Stromboli in Italy has been continuously erupting for 2000 years. These are likely both basaltic eruptions, which spill out continuously instead of building up in pressure below the Earth’s surface.
