I know the deep south is one of the most humid places in America, is it harder for humid places to snow?

Depends on what kind of humidity you are talking about.  If it is the kind of humidity you experience in the South, where a high dew point plays a major role in the discomfort that is felt with high humidity, then it is probably less likely to snow there.  But in terms of relative humidity, calculated by using the temperature and the dew point (the closer the two measures, the higher the humidity), island and coastal Alaska are the most humid spots in the nation.  Alaska probably receives one of the highest amounts of snowfall in the US!
