I have seen old pictures of sturgeon that look like they are about 15 feet long, what is the longest sturgeon we have proof of someone catching?

Some beluga (a type of sturgeon) in the Caspian Sea have reportedly reached 5.5 m — just barely over 18 feet in length. As far as weight is concerned, these same Caspian Sea monsters have been reported at around 2,000 kg (approx. 4,410 lbs; over 2 tons).
