I have noticed a lot of college games being played on Astroturf how much water do they save?

Astroturf can save a significant amount of water. By replacing the grass on a normal residence with synthetic grass, you can conserve about 22,000 gallons of water per year. Astroturf cuts down on green waste, pesticides, and urban runoff. However, there have been recent concerns about the synthetic grass and claims that it might pose a health hazard to people. Old astroturf contains lead and people fear lead contamination.
