The following website may help with your model. http://www.builditsolar.com/Projects/Educational/MicroTurbinecp2.pdf

Once you wind the copper coils, you will need to arrange the coils on the stator disc and alternate between clockwise and counter-clockwise. The template at the website here is helpful: <http://www.builditsolar.com/Projects/Educational/microhydro_template.pdf> It shows the correct path of current with arrows is a guide for how to arrange the coils to ensure electricity flows. To check if they are set up correctly and will resist some current, use a multi-meter to check for ohms, which should be 10 or below if they are set up correctly. After you arrange the magnets on the rotor disc, make sure that when it spins they are close to the coils but not touching. If you use the template, you can ensure the magnets and coils are correctly placed so that they will line up correctly.
