I have heard that colleges pump hormones into their food at the cafeterias does anyone know anything about this?

Like supplements or something.

That sounds like a rumor. I seriously doubt that any school would do that.

However, cows and other animals are pumped with hormones so that they grow very large before they are slaughtered for meat, so try to by meat and milk that is labeled Hormone Free.

In the one university cafeteria I have worked in, we never added any hormones or supplements of any kind to the food; if there were any, they would have to have been in the pre-packaged food before we made it and served it. Undoubtedly there were hormones in the food if, as mentioned above, the cafeteria served meats and dairy products that came from animals given hormones.
