There are various hotels in Las Vegas that make an effort to lessen their impact on the environment.

Vdara Hotel and Spa was also built with sustainable and recycled materials.

The Orbitz blog had a post on it called “5 Eco-Friendly Las Vegas Vacations.” I was quite surprised by a few of the hotels that made it onto the list. Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas not only is affordable, but also has earned the ENERGY STAR label. The only drawback is that it is not on the strip, meaning that a car would need to be used. Aria Hotel and Casino was “built using high standards of environmental performance.” It is one of the only five-star hotels in the city that is LEED certified.
