Tornado season in North America is in spring, from early March to the end of May.

Hurricane season on the Atlantic begins June 1st and ends November 30, and on the Eastern Pacific, begins May 15 and ends November 30.

Hurricane season is at least four months while tornado season is only three, so hurrican season is longer.
