How would an orbital sunshade work?

    An orbital sunshade would essentially be a satellite that orbits Earth, just like any other satellite. However, instead of broadcasting TV or other signals, this satellite’s job would simply be to cast a large shadow on the Earth. With less sunlight hitting the Earth, the climate would cool.
