It will actually be a pretty simple integration of wind power into residential homes. Since wind power doesn’t require a lot of maintanence, after the original installation the owners don’t need to do much. Wind turbines can be placed on roofs or in backyards, and while commercial wind turbines are very large, residential turbines don’t have to be because they are only powering one house. The turbines can be hooked up to the power grid so that when they aren’t being used by the house, energy can be sold back to the energy companies, and when the wind isn’t blowing, the house can still use energy from the energy company.
