From what I can tell the BP Oil Spill is having a limited effect on seafood prices in the United States. Only about 2% of the seafood in the US comes from the Gulf. The Wall Street Journal has an interesting article on seafood prices — I’ve linked the article below.
Some areas may be harder hit by the Gulf Spill than others. Areas along the Gulf have probably relied on local seafood — and probably account for most of that 2% domestic seafood consumption originating in the Gulf.
