The human body is made up of 70% water more or less. The water helps the body do certain functions, like digest food, and also helps remove waste. Blood, bones and every cell that make up your body are all made of water in part.

Humans can survive without food for several days, but will die in a few days without water. We need water in order to keep our bodies functioning, which is why it is so important to make sure we drink enough water every day. How much water you need to drink depends on your physical exercise and where you are on a given day.

Doctors recommend drinking 8 glasses of water a day, but that number can change depending on the person. We also get water in some of our food, so we can combine food and drink in order to get the amount of water we need daily.

When water is polluted it becomes unsafe to drink. The body cannot remove the toxins it ingests through the polluted water and can damage the body, can prevent the water from doing it’s job in the body, and it can also cause death depending on how polluted the water is.

It is for this reason that we need to make sure we take care of our water source. Without clean water, humans cannot survive.
