How was the Atlantic Blufin Tuna population affected by the oil spill?

Considering that the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna is already the most sought-after type of tuna, the oil spill didn’t do it any favors.  The oil spill happened in during their chief spawning period, in their favorite place to spawn.  Most of the adult fish were able to get away from the oil spill, but it would seem that most of their eggs were left to the spill.  The amount of casualties is unknown, but it is certain that the oil spill caused serious devastation to this species.
