How is Volvo working with WWF to benefit the environment?

Volvo is working on reducing emissions from its vehicles by 13 million tons as part of the Climate Savers Program launched by WWF. It would apply the changes to vehicles manufactured between 2009 and 2014. WWF created the program ten years ago to mobilize multi-national companies to reduce CO2 emissions in “absolute terms.” The point of the program is to reveal how easy it is for a company to be ambitious and successful while reducing its carbon footprint.
