The UK recently presented a plan to improve food sustainability and boost food production over the next 20 years. The latter will be done by setting aside land tracks in a land bank for people to grow their own food, and by a somewhat vague initiative that will help farmers increase output while not increasing impact on the land.
Other endeavors include healthy cooking classes, clearer labeling, encouraging consumers to buy sustainably grown food and food that is in season, and to have less food waste.
