Giraffe’s are the tallest mammals. The tallest giraffe was 19.2 feet tall.
Giraffes hold the distinction of being the tallest animals in the world, so it is not surprising just how large they can grow to be! Males grow to be about 17 feet tall on average, reaching their full height by age 8. This is a combination of 6 feet tall legs, a 3 foot long tail, and an extensive neck. Male giraffes can weigh up to 2,600 pounds total.
Like the previous answers have stated, giraffes are the tallest animals in the world. Depending on their gender, a female giraffe can reach up to 15 feet (4.6m) high while a male can reach – on average – 17 feet high. However, they can reach 18 feet or higher. Another interesting fact, males are full grown by age 8!
