Everyone knows that beavers are busy. They work during twilight hours, building and maintaining dams and lodges out of trees that they cut down with their teeth. While standing on their hind legs they chew a ring around the tree using their upper incisors. The chewing force required for this busy job is 176 pounds per square inch.
