How serious could a super storm be?

A superstorm is a very powerful storm that forms when atmospheric conditions are right to create it. Today, California is predicted to have a superstorm unleash 10 feet of rain across the entire state. With California’s already serious flooding issue, it is believed that this superstorm could cause 300 billion dollars in damages.

Note that the superstorm mentioned in the other answer is not a specific forecast storm for today (or tomorrow), but a generalized prediction that such a storm is likely to occur sometime, perhaps soon (meaning years).
