The safety of drinking water in an American school is largely dependant on the drinking water quality in that geographic area. Every city/town has it’s own source and methods of ensuring the quality of water provided to it’s citizens. Also, the facilities in the school would likely have an effect, with older buildings being mroe likely to contain contaminants in the drinking water. In general, if the water safe according to the EPA (link below), it is hopefully safe in all the buildings in the area.
