How risky do you think it is to live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where there seems to be many environmental hazards?

These include a radioactive waste facility, a sewage treatment plant, waste transfer facilities and a power generator? It’s a highly populated area that has witnessed a housing boom. Is it possible that people don’t realize living there is a serious hazard, or are these facilities not as dangerous to live near as I think.

Location, location, location. Real Estate in or around major cities is in demand with increased gentrification. People trust now that technology and eco-friendly practices have made living in a pollution-prone area like Williamsburg safe. It is a personal choice.
