Yoko Ono has said that the Bed-in was a bit naive, and i agree with her — to me, the most relevant part of the movie is the cultural differences it highlights between then and now — in the modern day, our reaction to atrocities and to war is much more muted, and our country is much more divided. We have no ideals to rally behind anymore — we’ve retreated into our niches.
