How quickly do trees grow back enough to be harvested again?

Tree growth depends greatly upon specie of tree and several other factors like soil depth, texture, fertility and moisture, sunlight, and topography. Forest habitats are constantly changing, so the same care-methods for trees to be harvested needs to be altered constantly as well. Mistakenly, many landowners assume that their same methods will be relevant for many years. A commonly harvested tree, like a pine tree, may take as many as 14 years to grow enough to be harvested, but will continue to grow for many years after that.
