The San Francisco Bay is incredibly polluted despite environmental regulations enacted 30 years ago. Scientists say this is due to the millions of tiny sources of pollution that occurs indirectly.
For example, oil and gas are spilled on the streets and flow downhill along with rainwater, ending up in the bay.
