Normal bowel movements is a very broad term. What is normal for one person may not be normal for the next. There is no set defition for healthy or normal bowel movements. However, having less than three movements a week is usually not good and is a sign of constipation. Similarly, having more than three a day (and watery) is not healthy either and is probably a sign of diarrhea.
