How often do whales breed?

It varies slightly from species, but typically, it’s one baby every 3-5 years. There are exceptions, however, and some whales have more calves than others. THe second link is from a guy that saw the same mom two years in a row, where she had two different calves. Usually, however, whales like her are the exception.
