Obama’s new plan for global food security will involve disseminating information and research on increasing productivity and building infrastructure in developing nations to aid the international food crisis. The plan includes measures to increase funding in research and investment in better seeds and productivity. It will also accelerate efforts to decrease transport costs to better connect smaller farmers to larger markets. In general, the goal is to increase efficiency and ensure that the global food supply/production is sufficient for our population and (more importantly) relatively stable.
