How much would the world need to be knocked off of its axis to notice a difference?

The Earth’s axis is affected all the time by the earthquakes we have, but you’d be hard pressed to notice it without scientific equipment because the effects are so miniscule.  It would likely take an incredible amount of force to affect the Earth’s axis so much that we would notice any difference without scientific equipment.  A large asteroid might do the trick.
