I assume you mean coal plant, which is the leading cause of global warming, smog, air toxins and acid rain. While I don’t have an actual percent, most of the pollution comes from coal.
They release 3.7 million tons of CO2, 10,200 tons of NO2 (nitrogen oxide), 10,000 tons SO2 (sulfur dioxide), 720 tons of CO (carbon monoxide), 500 tons of airborne particles which cause such ailments as haze, asthma and even death, 225 pounds of arsenic, 170 pounds of mercury, 114 pounds of lead along with other toxic metals and trace amounts of uranium.
