How much wind power have we added to our electricity since 2000?

    In the year 2000, the US was operating with 2,539 megawatts of wind power capacity.  That number has spiked sharply over the past 10 years!  As of the end of 2009, the US had 34,836 MW of wind capacity installed.  For color-coded maps detailing the growth of wind power over the last decade, follow the link below!
