How much water does the average person in Asia use?

In Asia, water withdrawals for personal use are around 85 liters per day. This is much less in comparison to the US, where we use a whopping 578 liters per day. This definitely an important question and one to consider in a world where water resources are dwindling quite rapidly. Americans would do well to consider how much water they are consuming, in comparison to other countries.
