There are many factors determining how much water a fog net can collect in a day, and it remains to really only be implemented full-scale in mountainous regions of Chile and Peru. BUT, that being said, it looks like under good conditions a fog net can collect up to 13.5 liters per square meter day (that’s a flow rate measurement).
“Experimental projects conducted in Chile indicate that it is possible to harvest between 5.3 l/m2/day and 13.4 l/m2/day depending on the location, season, and type of collection system used.”
