According to a study of total waste generation in 2006, Ireland produced 30,704,149 tons of waste in one year. The study separates the waste into different categories such as manufacturing, municipal, and energy/gas/water supply. Construction and demolition waste accounted for the most, with 16,819,904 tons, or 54.8%, of the country’s waste. This website has the full study with each category and percentage.
