On average, a bidet uses up about 2 glasses of water or 500ml of water per wash. Not a lot compared to the 2 liters of water we use up by just washing our hands, or the 120 liters used in a mere 10 minute shower. According to the Bidet Shop’s website, the amount of water used by a bidet in one whole year could be less than having 2 ten minute showers. Bidets are definitely more eco-friendly than using tons of toilet paper. They are more hygienic too.
