Has anyone here done it before? If so, what was it like?
As Terracycle Brigades are voluntary programs, you can make as much of a time commitment as you choose. Furthermore, the only time you need to commit is the collection of the materials to be sent in.
Here’s how it works. You and/or your family sign up on Terracycle’s site (http://www.terracycle.net/brigades) to collect a certain item; current items being collected include Capri-Sun containers, Cheese Brigade packages and Neosporin tubes. Once a certain number has been collected (a minimum of 500 is required for most), you send them into Terracycle, and they pay the shipping fees. This is an ideal project for a classroom.
